Ok, I can hardly type that with a straight face. I don't even see them winning a game at this point. I found it amusing how the Spurs were so bored at the end of game 2, they allowed the Cavs to go on a little run before quickly squashing it and bringing them back to earth. The Cavs may want to think about trying to stop any one of the big three, Duncan Parker and Ginobli, from scoring over 20 ppg in the series. That may be a good starting point for not getting swept out of the finals. I have to prop the guys from ESPN who said how Tony Parker is the series MVP so far, as he has torn the Cavs D a new asshole. Ok, that last part I added in. Not only is he the best point guard in the leauge not named Nash (God), he also has Eva. I'd say he is doing pretty well, especially after another ring. As Steven A Smith said, the eastern conference is basically a JV leauge, and the NBA champs will of course be a western conference team. Outside of a handful of players, the eastern conference might as well merge with the NBDL and we can just set up the whole thing all over again. The knicks can be the first to go.

Besides the warriors upset, which was great to watch, the only series I could not wait for was the Suns vs Spurs. To me this was truly the NBA finals. Kind of like back in the day when the NFC championship game between the niners and cowboys was the real super bowl, before the actual super bowl, and the winner would go on to crush whatever AFC team they faced. To bad the series was ruined by Horry and the suspensions, and we will never know what would have happened. Personally I think the suns would have taken it and gone all the way. I do know that the suns are by far the most fun team to watch and I look forward to watching Nash (canadien jesus) and his team again next season.

I wanted to share one thing for all of you Soprano's fans. My friend Mike came up with his interpretation of what happened at the end of the finale, and I feel it is worth sharing. In the restaurant at the end, when the drama was building up and then it went black, this was the writers way of showing what it was like to get whacked. We, meaning the viewer/ audience got whacked in that final scene. We had been a part of this crime family for the whole time and then the series ends when we get hit. I thought it was pretty cool, and I agreed with him, especially after thinking back to the episode before the finale. They showed a flashback of Tony and Bobby in the boat and Bobby says how in the end, you don't even hear anything and it all goes black and quiet, just like at the end of the finale.

Morning Woes

I fucking hate getting up early. The frenchman can attest to this as he was my roommate at Umass. He was just a young pup with a gleam in his eye back then. After moving in with me, his life in Amherst went from attending class and sashaying through the quad, to little more than a graffix bong and a sega genesis controller. Maybe an occasional call to Bruno's. Back to the present day. How much do you love it when your body wakes you up at about 4 am to piss and you immediately climb back into your warm bed knowing you have at least a few more hours of sleep? No good? On the flip side, how awful is it when you wake up 15-20 minutes before your alarm is set to go off. Not enough time for even one glorious snooze. Side note: whoever invented the snooze button, or "dream bar" as it is called on my Sony dream machine, was clearly a genius but most likely not very punctual. Or my personal favorite, waking up at about 8 am on a Saturday or Sunday morning when you have absolutely nothing to do, just because your body is used to getting up that early all f'ing week.

When did people in this area become total pussies when it comes to the morning commute after a light snow fall the night before? I was late to work the other day because the people in front of me were driving 20 mph on a main road. Are you fucking serious? Less than an inch of snow is not going to affect your already shitty driving. Don't these people realize that I stay in bed watching my alarm clock until the last possible moment, then get up and rush my ass off to make it to work on time? I can't have that bullshit.

The Giants are off to a great start to the year, as usual. Instead of aggressively going after Willis Mcgahee, they sign Reuben Droughns to create a 1-2 punch with Jacobs. I don't know much about this guy, and I love Jacobs, but the two of them will not make up for the loss of Tiki. Jacobs will have to have a breakout year for us to do anything. Oh and Eli is still our starter. At least they got rid of Feeley.

I find it fitting that this picture is the final image of the season on the Umass Men's Basketball page on ESPN.com. Right next to the score of their final loss against Saint Louis. Disappointing to say the least. I can only hope the team returns to glory at some point in my lifetime.

I hope you have enjoyed my first post. If not, tea bag me.
